About me

I graduated in Business Sciences at the University of Valladolid in Valladolid, Spain, in 2013. I was granted an Erasmus Mundus scholarship, so I spent my last year of college in China studying abroad at Sun Yat-sen University in its campus in Zhuhai.

After I graduated I took some time off to travel and work in different places and visited Southeast Asia, Canada, and the US. In 2014 I came back to China to the same university I studied at and spent three years working there as a Spanish teacher. I attended several teacher training conferences in Hong Kong and Beijing in which I, together with two of my coworkers, conducted workshops and shared my own experiences, which we discussed at length in two different articles published in the Spanish electronic journal of foreign language teaching SinoELE Análisis de cortometrajes para el desarrollo del pensamiento crítico: un caso práctico en el aula universitaria de ELE en China and El fomento del pensamiento crítico en la enseñanza universitaria de ELE en China. I also became a certified language proficiency examiner for DELE (Diplomas of Spanish as a Foreign Language) by the Cervantes Institute. I also taught Chinese kids English and Spanish at a language academy. 

Since I left China I’ve been working as an online teacher and translator and split my time between USA, India, Spain and Mexico.
